An unexpected pregnancy can change everything in a moment. PHCG makes sure a woman doesn’t face that moment alone.
Imagine a woman staring at a positive pregnancy test. She is scared, financially overwhelmed, and convinced abortion is her only option. She may be searching online for abortion pills or considering traveling out of state. Then she walks through our doors.
At PHCG, she receives free, confidential care, accurate information, an ultrasound, practical resources, and—most importantly—someone who will listen without judgment. She discovers that choosing life doesn’t mean she has to do it alone.
Although most abortions are prohibited in Texas, the need has not disappeared. Women still cross state lines for abortions and obtain abortion pills, sometimes going through the process alone in their own bathrooms. Changing the law did not eliminate fear, financial hardship, difficult relationships, or unexpected pregnancies.
These women need compassionate help—not condemnation.
PHCG walks with women beyond a pregnancy decision through parenting education, material assistance, referrals, fatherhood support, and ongoing relationships that strengthen the entire family.
And taxpayers don’t fund it.
PHCG receives no government funding. We are a gift from the Christian community to our community—Christians, churches, and partners voluntarily giving so families can receive these services at no cost while reducing reliance on publicly funded resources.
Our faith doesn’t simply tell us what to believe. It calls us to do something. We serve women, support mothers, equip fathers, strengthen families, share the hope of Jesus Christ, and work to save lives.
The law can protect life. But a law cannot sit beside a frightened woman, answer her questions, meet her needs, or walk with her into motherhood.
